Double Mast - 20 ft. to 70 ft.
- Seamless 6063-T6 aluminum tubing, uniform conical taper of approximately
1" in every 5'- 6".
- Lower masts up to 38'- 6" in length can be fabricated in one piece
and shipped via motor freight to almost any destination.
- Lengths requiring shipment in sections are factory fitted with a self-aligning
internal sleeve which facilitates field assembly without welding.
- Gaff, yardarm and upper mast are attached to the lower mast with fabricated
aluminum fittings. Finish is the same as on the shaft.
Double
Mast & Single Mast Marine / Nautical Flagpoles
Finish:
Nautical flagpoles are highly polished with fine grain aluminum oxide
cloths, resulting in a high quality deep luster finish that represents
the ultimate in architectural finishes for aluminum flagpoles and
remains maintenance free. The unexposed portion of the shaft which
will be below grade, is coated of asphaltum paint.
Standard
Fittings:
Ball: #14 ga. aluminum, with a flush seam and gold anodized finish.
Truck: Cast aluminum, single halyard, revolving, complete with 26
stainless steel ball bearings and one 2 3/8" diameter cast nylon
sheave.
Halyards: Four sets of #10 (5/16") white waterproof polypropylene,
each equipped with two plated swivel snaps to secure the flag.
Cleats: Four 9" cast aluminum cleats with deep luster finish
to match the shaft. Tamperproof stainless steel socket head bolts
included.
Collar, ornamental base: spun aluminum, Type FC-11, deep luster finish.
Foundation sleeve and base: #16 ga. galvanized steel, with a steel
base plate, 4" larger o.d. than the internal diameter of the
sleeve. 6" square setting plate securely welded to the ground
spike 6" below the base plate. Ground-spike is 3/4" diameter,
18" long.
